Biodiversity and ecosystem services
The Council approved a revised EU position regarding the status of the EU in the International Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES). This position implies that the EU strives ad interim to obtain the status of an enhanced observer to IPBES, without prejudice to the long-term objective of full membership, and will be defended at the next session of the IPBES plenary from 7 to 10 March 2017 in Bonn, Germany. »
