« Set with the interest of users in mind, a 3-month Sunrise period is starting today, before the full entry into force of the UPC Agreement on 1 June 2023.
As from today, an opt-out from the jurisdiction of the Court, as laid down in Art. 83(3) of the UPC Agreement, can be filed.
In addition, filing a request to become a representative before the UPC, as per Article 48 of the Agreement, is also possible.
Both functionalities are available on the Case Management System of the Court which can be accessed under the following link: cms.unified-patent-court.org/login.
